I have started unixadminschool.com ( aka gurkulindia.com) in 2009 as my own personal reference blog, and later sometime i have realized that my leanings might be helpful for other unixadmins if I manage my knowledge-base in more user friendly format. And the result is today's' unixadminschool.com. You can connect me at - https://www.linkedin.com/in/unixadminschool/

Hi Ramdev…you are really doing great. Each article is priceless. If the same articles can be made available in printable version and in pdf, that would be wonderful.

    Hi,
    Its a very nice blog!
i have a question here. I am trying to retrieve the statistics similar to linux’s /proc/diskstats for solaris OS.(10+).

in linux’s /proc/diskstats, we have a column, “Read time in milliseconds”, and “write time in milliseconds”.

How can we derive that from “iostat -xnp” output?
